AWStats LogFormat element for date and time

Hi Jean,

I had an issue in parsing the date and time elements of my new ELF log files.

Current server generated date and time is {2009-04-28     00:30:57}, please don't consider those brackets.

You can find a tab space between date and time. THIS is something AWStats is not recognizing , even with LogSeperator "\\t" or "\\s+" and element %time2

But if i change the tab space to a single space, then AWStats is able to parse the logs.

Is there a way, may be some other time element instead of %time2, so that i can parse the logs with the current tab space between date and time in my log records ??

You can try sed to convert the original format to a format acceptable for AWStats.

This is an example of usage of sed  with AWStats :

LogFile="sed -e 's/\\t/ /g' /your_path/log_file.log |"
