Would like to know if any have used Awstats Plugins. There is a TimeZone Plugin that is for use where the server is on a different time to your local time. Notes indicate that this is useless with Apache so am unlikely to use

The TimeZone plugin has been developed for IIS servers that use GMT date and time in the log files. It can convert from GMT to local time, so it allows IIS users to get AWStats reports based on their local time.

In fact, the plugin can make conversions from any time zone in any log file to any time zone in the report. Assume that your Apache server is hosted in the USA and that you are located in Australia: as the Apache log file will use the local time of the web server in USA, thanks to the TimeZone plugin, you can generate reports based on your Australian local time.

Note that, according to the AWStats documentation, this plugin reduces AWStats update speed by 40%.

Your data regarding the TimeZone plugin is interesting. Because the plugin reduceis speed etc have decided not to use. The InternetOfficer .com forum is an excellent source of information and feedback so will revisit regularly. Thank you for an excellent site
