Hi Jean-Luc,

We recently lost the old awstats data files  prior to June'08.  Is there a way to regenerate these reports from the web logs again? If so, what would be the command?

Firstly rename the AWStats data files that still exist or temporarily move them to another directory.

Then start from the oldest available log file and run the AWStats update for this file. You can specify the log file when running the update with:

perl -config=mysite -update
Then take the next oldest log file and run update. And so on until you have processed all logs.

Now you can restore the AWStats data files that you renamed in the beginning of this procedure.
