for the past to hours I have been trying to get skip files to work to NO avail!

I am trying to get awstats to ignore this: /eyewonder/interim.html

(ps this is the way it shows up on the Pages-URL page in awstats

I have tried everything I can think of, here is my skipfile line:

SkipFiles="/eyewonder/interim.html /server-status /eyewonder/interim.html/ eyewonder/interim.html interim.html REGEX[^\\interim.html\\/]"

interesting enough, /server-status does work and does not show up in my stats, but I cannot get the eyewonder/interim.html to be excluded

what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

SkipFiles="/eyewonder/interim.html"

is good enough to exclude hits on /eyewonder/interim.html , but it will not exclude hits on /eyewonder/interim.html?something=here even if AWStats is configured to not show the query string parameters.

With a regex, I would use

SkipFiles="REGEX[^\/eyewonder\/interim.html]"

Note that data which are already in AWStats database will not be changed by SkipFiles. So if you had 10 hits on the file before you changed SkipFiles, you will keep these 10 hits after the change, but new hits will not be counted.
