Dear All,

I have configured GeoIP Plugin in Awstats to show Countries stats. This the configuration file entary.

LoadPlugin=”geoip GEOIP_STANDARD /usr/local/share/GeoIP/GeoIP.dat”

I need stats of Unique visitors,Number of visits,Pages,Hits,Bandwidth. The configuration entary is :

ShowDomainsStats=UVPHB

The above configuration show Unique visitors,Number of visits,Pages,Hits,Bandwidth stats in Countries (Top 10) tables. In Awstats data base file there no any number Unique visitors,Number of visits, but browser showing the Unique visitors,Number of visits count also. I want to know how it will display. So that I will fetch the numbers and prepare report for my boss.

Example :

Countries	Unique visitors	Number of visits	Pages	Hits	Bandwidth
Unknown	92012 (50.5%)	138909 (50.5%)	3810889	6849797	64.94 GB
xxxx	64355 (35.3%)	97156 (35.3%)	3104490	4067940	49.75 GB

Where or how is getting Unique and number of visits in the above stats?

That's a good question. The AWStats documentation says this:

# Show domains/country chart
# Context: Web, Streaming, Mail, Ftp
# Default: PHB
# Possible column codes: PHB
ShowDomainsStats=PHB

As you see, U and V are not allowed.

I do not know how your U and V values were calculated, but it is clear that at least one of them is not correct. Did you notice that the percentages are identical in both U and V columns ? This never happens in the real world.

Hi Jean-Luc,

It seems the U and V values are calculated at the time of loading the data in browser. I think there may be a code it will calculate those stats dynamically. I am not expert in perl, can you point the code doing the calculation ?.
