HI, I'm having the same problem.

My http-error.log is showing this message:

(8)Exec format error: exec of '/usr/local/www/awstats/js/day-by-day-head.js' failed, referer: http://myipaddress/awstats/cgi…..=mainright
Premature end of script headers: day-by-day-head.js, referer: http://myipaddress/awstats/cgi…..=mainright
(8)Exec format error: exec of '/usr/local/www/awstats/js/day-by-day-end.js' failed, referer: http://myipaddress/awstats/cgi…..=mainright
Premature end of script headers: day-by-day-end.js, referer: http://myipaddress/awstats/cgi…..=mainright
Any suggestion?

Hello,

The Apache server should not generate an error message for a script that it must not execute. The .js scripts are JavaScript programs that are executed on the PC (client side).

You may get this error because you put the .js files under the cgi-bin directory or under another directory that is designated by ScriptAlias in a way that forces execution of the server. Moving the .js files to a directory that contains standard .html files should solve the problem.
