hello

i've got a problem with LogResolveMerge with Windows (iis) logfiles.

I've got two server :
Server 1 log Path \\192.168.0.1\log
Server 2 log Path \\192.168.0.2\log

Every Day, Logresolvemerge try to collect data from both server (example > file ex100809.log) but if it DON't FIND the file …. in ONE server…..it stop, because the file is not present.

Searching new records from beginning of log file… Error: Command for pipe '\\… \\192.168.100.137\LogFiles\W3SVC15506\ex100331.log \\192.168.100.136\LogFiles\W3SVC15506\ex100331.log |' failed Setup may be wrong. Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation

How can i solve this?

Hi,

I guess that many users like to get an error message when a listed input file is not available.

To get rid of the error message, try replacing line 481 in logresolvemerge.pl  :

open("LOG$logfilenb","$LogFileToDo{$logfilenb}") || error("Couldn't open log file \"$LogFileToDo{$logfilenb}\" : $!");

by

open("LOG$logfilenb","$LogFileToDo{$logfilenb}");
