Hi, I am currently running AWstats on IIS 6 on Windows 2003 server which all works OK.

However, when I visit one of my sites the hit is recorded on the site when I click 'Update Now', however the last visit time is an hour behind (GMT London)

This appears to be caused by the IIS logs being an hour behind. I've read up on the issue, and apparently IIS logs in GMT… which doesnt make much sense as the logs are an hour out. The guides i've looked talk about changing the IIS logfile format, which Im not really keen on doing.

The local server time is synced with an NTP server, so the time is correct. I guess my question is. Is it possible to sync up my IIS logs to the correct time so the 'Last Visit' time on AWStats is displayed correctly?

Hi,

You need the AWStats "timezone" plugin. It is part of AWStats distribution, but it requires that the Perl Time::Local module is installed on your system. It negatively impacts the speed of AWStats.

To activate the module, add this line in the AWStats config file:

LoadPlugin="timezone +1"
