UPDATE: In IIS I keep adding pl under the configuration and allowing CGI under extensions and it will work until I restart IIS and removes pl extension and prohibits CGI. That is when it fails.

 

I am able to collect data now (thanks for help on Monday) from the logs but I can not get the main page to come up unless I go to IIS and click browse which brings up the page.

Running Server 2003 R2

http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/awstats.app.server.com.html

brings up the main page but

http://localhost:8080/awstats/awstats.pl?config=app.server.com

 

http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=app.server.com

does not and gives me a page can not be found.

I have enable Perl under web server extensions.

The site is configured:

www

  >AWStats

   >cg-bin,classes,css,icon,js directories

If you are not sure that IIS is properly configured for Perl, try to run this short script :

#!/usr/bin/perl
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
print "\nHello, all!";
exit;
