I need help on that Section Pages-URL (Top 10). Can we change it to top 30 or 40…?

1. Can I customize the report in way so that only required links/Pages should be showing in report , so that we can avoid looking on not required pages in report..?

2. Now I m able to customize the report with the help of plug-in urlalias.. but is it possible if I can get the business friendly name and URL in two different columns..?because now it is showing both in same column..?

Hi,

You can easily set the number of rows in the section with:

MaxNbOfPageShown = 30

Regarding the second question, you would need to modify AWStats source code in order to add a column in that section of the report.

Thanks.

Can you please help me to update the configuration, so that I can get both the values: url & Business Friendly name in 2 different columns.?

How I can get the report for selected pages &URL or can we consider selected links in top 30-40..?

Hi Jean-Luc,

Can you please help me to get all the hits reports category wise in pages-url section..?as m able to customized all the pages links to a business friendly name..but now I need to divide all the links into different category as mentioned below…

Like if my url is : xyz.com  its business friendly name is Support portal

Main functions of Support Panel Xyz.com/main
Main login Xyz.com/main/login.aspx
Main report Xyz.com/main/report.aspx
Main help Xyz.com/main/help.aspx
Charity functions of Support Panel Xyz.com/charity
Charity default Page Xyz.com/charity/default.aspx
Charity trustee detail Xyz.com/charity/trustee.aspx
Charity sponsors detail Xyz.com/charity/sponcers.aspx

i am ok with pages and url coming in single column, but just wanted that same type of links should come together,as i have mentioned above..!

Hi Vicky9,

If I understand correctly, you want to sort the URL's by section or directory. There is no standard AWStats solution for that. Considering the various cusomizations you are looking for, you might want to try our aws2xls. aws2xls converts an AWStats data file in an Excel (or OpenOffice) spreadsheet. When the data is in the Excel sheet you can use the Excel sorting capabilities to get the sophisticated presentation that you are looking for.

The evaluation version of aws2xls is free. The standard version costs 14.99 euro. It allows to export the AWStats data files in Excel. It is very easy to use. Follow the link I gave you and you will get more details and screenshots.

Use the AWStats URL plugin to add "business friendly names" to the URL's in the report.

The URL's are not alphabetically sorted in AWStats reports. If you were talking about aws2xls, then yes you can sort URL's alphabetically in Excel or OpenOffice.
