To build your own list of parameters, use How To's : Log Format and start from the beginning of the #Fields line.
It usually starts with “date time”. Search for “date time (IIS format) ” in the How To's page. You will find that it matches “%time2 ” in the list of AWStats parameters.
Repeat the same steps for each parameter. If you do not find the IIS parameter in the How To's page, replace it by “%other ” which means “not used”.
Now you are ready to create your own list of LogFormat parameters for AWStats !
I tried to explain how to do it in my last post above. I reformulate my answer here.
Copy the #Fields line and the LogFormat line on a piece of paper. You will quickly see that there is an AWStats code for each IIS field name. Refer to the list in the page I mentioned (How To's : LogFormat) to find which AWStats code to use for each IIS code.
I am pleased to help with these conversions from IIS log format specs to AWStats log format specs, but I wonder why you do not use the information in our page about LogFormat.
If this other page is not clear enough, please let me know how we should improve it. Thanks.
I'm sorry for wasting your time. But the thing is, I was try to make the Awstats process old logs. I wasn't know that I must process my log files in chronological order.
The following log format key is working fine for me.
