Hi There

I can get AWStats 6.9 working fine, I can get it to read my IIS log files no problems, I can get the program to generate a report no problems but here is my issue.  I am using Win 2008 x64 with ActivePerl 5.10 x64 and IIS 7, and it will display the page fine (not using frames, turned that CGI option because that will cause the error I am about to say).

Any line that throws a &output= on it generates a url like mydomain.com/awstats/cgi-bin/awstats.pl%20?config=mydomain&output=unknownos will cause a 404 because the space should not be there.

What I need to know is why? Why does it generate the space character in the url links? if i then delete the %20, the url it was trying to get works fine.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated!!!

should have signed up first:

I'm getting the %20 character in links to new pages (and i've had to turn off the framescgi option) with anything that adds &output=

so from the generated awstats webpages works fine (in a browser)

myserver/awstats/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=mysite

The links however have a generated link like follows:

mysever/awstats/cgi-bin/awstats.pl%20?config=mysite&ouput=unknownos

What I need to know is WHY / HOW the space character is being generated.  If I remove that from the URL, the pages work fine.

i have awstat 6.9 on Windows 2008 x64 with ActivePerl 5.10 x64
