windows+active perl+xhost.pm=whois problem

Hi, i have intalled active perl and awstats on window and i can create the html statistic pages processing an iis log, ok it's great :)  


Now i want use hostinfo and i have download xhost.pm and put it in E:\Perl64\lib\Net\  I launch

E:\AWStats\wwwroot\cgi-bin>perl awstats
.pl -config=www.mysite.mydomain -output
 -staticlinks > awstats.www.mysite.mydo
main.html

and when i open html page i see an ? after the host :) ok great! But if i click the ? firefox open a blank popup or inexplorer give me an error… 


if i use the whois xhost example (in example dir) all go well and in the dos promp i can see the whois result. 

How can i resolve this? What's wrong?

The hostinfo plugin calls awstats.pl.

Try to right-click the ? and select "Open in a new window". You will see the URL at the top of the new window.

It could be that it only works when you show the reports by calling awstats.pl and that it cannot work when showing the reports as regular .html files.
