When i follow your  instructions to install the plugin, the new column is added. But when i click "zoom"

i get a new page with "Error: Couldn't open server log file "/var/log/apache2/www_access_log-20110419" : Permission denied"

The file is the one defined in the LogFile directive. I think /var/log/apache2 ist the standard-place for apache-logfiles. Do i have to copy them in DocumentRoot to get permissions to read them?

Awstats is run nightly by cron.

Hello Rainer,

To use the plugin, the log file must be readable by everybody. Check the read/write/execute properties of the file and of the directory that contains it. Copying the log file to another public directory might be an easy way to make it readable, in some setups.
