HI

I want to use this patch    : http://www.aliov.org/115/awsta…..s-dropped/

to fix awstats skiphosts which does'nt work in awstats it seems a bug , and i dont kown how to use this patch , where should i put it and how can i run it ??

Hi Bila,

This patch is for AWStats 7.0. Here is what it does.

It replaces line 7812

shift =~ /\(\?[-\w]*:(.*)\)/;

by

shift =~ /\(\?[-^\w]*:(.*)\)/;

and it replaces lines 1356 to 1358

my @arrayunreg = map {
  if (/\(\?[-\w]*:(.*)\)/) { $1 }
 } @$array;

by

my @arrayunreg = map { UnCompileRegex($_) } @$array;

You can apply these changes yourself by manually editing the awstats.pl  file.

There are also several utilities for Windows that are able to automatically process .diff files.
