Hello,

We are looking at our browser stats, and for each browser type it gives the total hits from that browser type.  We are trying to determine if we can easily add an Extra section to show for each browser type, how many different users (by unique IP) are actually using that browser.  There may be few very active users, with an old browser, for example.  So while it might be a noticeable percentage of our overall hits, it may not be a noticeable percentage our user base. 

This seems like it should be possible to do with an extra section, but I am not sure how to go about it.  If this is something anyone has done, or if you know that this is not easily doable, that would help too!

Hi,

There is no nice way to count unique visitors with an extra section.

Theoretically true, but in most cases the percentage of overall hits will be close to the percentage of unique visitors.

Thanks for the input!  You are probably right, that the browsers by hits or unique IPs will probably be close in value.
