I am trying to find out which ip address (visitor) visited which page(s) and I tried using the extraSection defined on this page. After rebuilding, the main report shows data in this section as all zeroes.

 

Clicking on the "Full List" link on the main report page shows a Page Not Found error as it can't find the file at file awstats.mydomain.com.allextra1.html

Could you please help me understand what mistake I might have made? I started by editing the conf file and adding the extra section defined above. I then reran all reports. Please note that I didn't update the statistics again.

Thank you. That now helps populate the Extra Section in the Main Report.

What I have done is to paste the code above, unchanged, into my config file.

The result is that I get a new "Who was there" section at the bottom of my stats page but all of the values are zero.

I have restarted the Apache service. Do I need to do anything else?

 

Two questions…

1. Do I need to change ExtraSectionCondition1="URL,^\/mydir\/mypage$"?

If so, where do I point this to?

 

2. Is there a way to get the new section to appear in the menu on the left?
