I wan to track downloads of some particular files, but non of the "scripts" I found here or elsewhere on the Internet did work. To be precixe: No script at all works. Be a some Google referer or donwload tracking script, …
Can somebofy tell me where my problem could be located? AWSTATS works in principle, but not the ExtraSection….
Thanks alot"

Hi,
A new extra section appears in the report as soon as you create it, but there will be no content until the next update of the statistics. Not sure this is the reason why you say that your extra sections do not work though.
If this did not solve your problem, please be more specific about your extra section or try a simplified version of it (simplified ExtraSectionCondition1, for example).

Hi,
the problem was that for some reason the update process did not work properly. So after downloading the log files again and process them, die statistics are there.
Is it correct that there is no way to do graphs within the extra section? And if so, is there any other way of displaying kind of a trend? I want to see daywise, how often these specific files were downloaded within the "usual" monthly reporting pattern of AWSTATS.

You are right. There is no provision in AWStats for graphics in the extra sections.
Feel free to submit a customization request if you would like that we write a patch or a small script to generate a graphic report for your extra sections.
