Hi Guys,

I am using AWStats to analyse company Internet Access from our Proxy server logs.

AWStats is working like a dream, however I would like to get one further report. I understand that AWstats was designed for Web server logs specifically, but is it possible to get a list of all pages that an "authenticated user" or "host" has accessed?

Hi,

You can get this kind of report for a given host with an extra section, but you will need an additional extra section per user you want to monitor.

Here is an example:

ExtraSectionName1="Viewed by Mike"
ExtraSectionCodeFilter1="200 304"
ExtraSectionCondition1="HOST,^12.34.56.78$"
ExtraSectionFirstColumnTitle1="URL"
ExtraSectionFirstColumnValues1="URL,^(.*)"
ExtraSectionFirstColumnFormat1="<A HREF='%s' TARGET='_blank'>%.80s</A>"
ExtraSectionStatTypes1=PHBL
ExtraSectionAddSumRow1=1
MaxNbOfExtra1=20
MinHitExtra1=1

To do the same thing with authenticated user names, you need to patch awstats.pl  as explained in this topic: Using %logname in Extra Section.
