Hi to all,

I have understand that the file robots.pm in the lib directory of Awstat is a list of robots. To filter robots Awstat use this list

But new robots came out in Internet everyday, so do you have a suggestion to update this file regulary ?

Hi,

You are right. There are new robots every day and they are not in the AWStats robots.pm  file, thus they are not recognized.

There is no automatic system to update the file. This is a good reason to always use the last version of AWStats and its robots.pm  file. The structure of the robots.pm  file is not very complicated: you can edit it yourself and add new robots you have discovered on your web sites.
