Hi all ,

         I am getting this error recently when i try to run awstats from

        commandline.


 Error Traversing Database for ipnum = XXXXXXXX – Perhaps database is corrupt?

  •  One of my assumption is that it is arising due to geo-ip library  or  geo-ip database

Could anyone help me in this regard.

Hi,

This is a Maxmind (GeoIP) problem: similar messages were reported in the Maxmind forum two years ago: Errors with latest mod_geoip and 1.4.4 library. I hope this helps.

I solved this problem by replacing the current geo-ip database to new updated one…
