This solves the exact issue we uncovered with this stats package!  One question, though - when we install it, will it be able to anaylze our site data retroactively or will it simply start looking at the data in this new way from the date of the add-on installation?

Well, we have two different referrers add-on's…: Origin of Visitors and Referrers by Domain.

In "Referrers by Domain", no data will be analyzed retroactively. In "Origin of Visitors", old AWStats data files can be used to produce a list of referrers by domain name, but the old data about search engines cannot be analyzed retroactively.
